Meet Our Resident EcoGeek

Erin Gibb is a 33- year old political junkie, new mom, and advocate for the environment.

In 2006, Erin left San Diego where she was working as a political consultant, and moved to the Philadelphia region. Over the last decade, she has been fortunate to do her professional stretching and growing with elected officials like former President Bill Clinton, Lori Saldaña (a California State Assemblywoman and Clinton Appointee on Water Quality) and Steve Padilla (the former Mayor of Chula Vista, California and an appointee to the California Coastal Commission).  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa and a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.

Erin started EcoGeek Boutique in 2007 while she was still in graduate school. Her inspiration is finding ways to keep things hip and current, while bringing simplicity to practical, everyday habits that help the planet.  Her passion is building awareness about climate change, and helping people find their own unique ways to help combat the problem.

In life and through art, Erin tackles politically charged issues with style, humor, and a wee bit of sarcasm.  She believes laughter and listening to another person’s point of view, (instead of bombarding them with facts), is the best way to encourage people to address the growing concerns of our planet.

Erin is very appreciative of any feedback about EcoGeek Boutique, so feel free to reach out to her with ideas, comments, and suggestions!
