Through the internationally renowned non-profit Trees for the Future , EcoGeek Boutique plants trees in areas of the world where they will have the most positive impact on our planet in combating climate change.

For every t-shirt sold, we make a donation to Trees for the Future that covers the planting of one tree. Trees help reduce carbon emissions, and help us combat the effects of climate change.

Whether we are driving our cars, lighting our homes, or catching a flight we are emitting CO2. Businesses and organizations operating industrial machinery, driving delivery trucks, or simply heating and cooling office space, are also emitting CO2. Carbon emissions contribute to global warming and create climate change.

Planting trees can help because trees convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and energy-rich compounds that are the basis of both plant and animal life. This is done through a process called photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is crucial for maintaining life on Earth. If it ceased, there would soon be little food or other natural compounds on the planet, and most types of organisms would disappear. As a result, your contribution through the T(R)EE Shirts Program will help contribute to building large forests that help reduce the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.
